Hi, I'm Steph!
I grew up half a block from a used bookstore, which meant I spent my childhood wandering dusty aisles, thumbing through mysteries, and occasionally getting lost in worlds much bigger than my small town. Between the ages of eight and fourteen, I visited that shop so often they could have charged me rent. Years later, I worked there — and in another bookstore — because apparently, I can’t escape the smell of paper and ink.
When I wasn’t shelving books, I was writing about them — for newspapers, ad agencies, call centers, and even business brokers.
My life has been about reading, writing, and disappearing into other worlds.
Now, Cozy Paranormal Mystery Club and Bellwether is my world — full of magic, mystery, and just enough mayhem to keep you (and Fig) guessing.
I’m an empty-nester with time, energy, and a very opinionated black Labrador sidekick. This subscription is my creative outlet and my joy… though Fig insists he’s the true brains behind the operation.
